Extra Credit
Every week I will have a word problem that the students can attempt for extra credit. Many times I
get the word problems from the following website:
There may be other opportunities for extra credit, but the student will need to speak with me.
Late Work Policy
All assignments are due at the beginning of the class. *Late assignments will be
accepted until one week before the end of the quarter for 20% off. Each late assignment will result in a phone call to the
parents/guardians. After the third late assignment per class the students will be given an afterschool detention.

Absentee Policy
The Western Junior High School absentee policy applies.
For 1 day absent you have 2 school days to make up material. 1 day will be added for continuous days absent. Example:
1 day absent - 2 days to make up work.
2 days absent - 3 days to make up work.
3 days absent - 4 days to make up work.
